When Uwe and I were kids, we realized that silence is the canvas of music.

Notes have a beginning and an end and therefore require time. Silence is eternal as it does not require time nor space but only an observer. I wrote the tune Beautiful Nothing to highlight the relationship between the fleeting nature of sound and the eternal silence of all possibilities in creation.

We love playing the tune Beautiful Nothing at our shows to take the opportunity to honor for once the eternal silence over musical virtuosity.

The intention is all there truly is, and when we play Beautiful Nothing, we try to fill it with as much love as we are able to.

So it felt only natural to bring a little of that idea to life on a shirt.
